Plan-Whirling Wing Whirligigs Set (5 bird designs)

Add whirling wind action and a splash of colour to your yard or garden with these fun-to-make wild birds! Hang them from tree limbs or stake them in your yard. This plan includes the full-size patterns and instructions to make five whirling birds--Blue Jay, Cardinal, Robin, Goldfinch and Chickadee. When completed, this project will measure up to 16" long. The wings on all birds will measure approx 8" long.

There is a parts kit available for this plan, see Whirling Wing Parts Kit. The Cardinal design calls for 12mm Black Eyes. The Goldfinch, Robin & Chickadee designs call for 9mm Black Eyes.  Although the Blue Jay calls for 8mm, try using the 9mm for that design as well!
