Description

Building an oversized clock? This is the motor you need! These clock movements have more power than the mini quartz movements on this website. Because they are more powerful they can carry longer hands. This high torque clock movement is designed for hands up to 17 1/2" long! This movement measures 2 1/8" wide x 2 3/4" high x 1" deep with a shaft diameter of 7/16". This movement is ideal for dials up to 3/8" thick. The actual overall shaft length is 7/8" with a threaded shaft length of 7/16". Each movement requires a 'C' cell battery (not included). 

This High-Torque motor is designed for large clock hands (not included with motor purchase). Suitable hands are listed below under "accessories".

Visit this link for a diagram on attaching hands - Tips-Tricks-Links . Disregard Nut H and the second hand. Use the cap nut included with the High Torque hands instead. NOTE: When attaching hands, you will need to press the hour hand onto the shaft to the bottom of the white plastic portion, using steady, gentle down-pressure. This will ensure that the hour and minute hands will be spaced apart so they will not touch during rotation. After you have both hands mounted, check to ensure the hands weren't bent during installation and that they will each rotate freely.
