These extra thick hearts are 1 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick and are cut from MDF. MDF provides a very smooth, hard, flat surface that accepts acrylic paint very well. For best results, we recommend priming this surface with a gesso or simply mix 2 parts sealer to 1 part of your acrylic paint color.
