These brown eyes have a nice black pupil. They have a shank and are either inserted into a hole in woodworking projects or used with a retaining washer (included) to fasten the eye to fabric.
If you find the washers difficult to push onto the eye, we suggest heating a cup of water and soaking the washers for a minute or two. This will make them pliable enough to easily slip over the eye shaft ridges. When the washer cools it will tightly secure the eye to your project.
